This kit is a 'plug-n-play' drop kit for your Factory roof bars.
It lowers the roof bars by 63mm (2.48") for a better look and surprisingly for lower wind noise levels.
Brackets are made out of 6061 Aluminum and are anodized.
What is included:

The basics are:
Note: keep the mounts and bars paired so you dont mix front to back by mistake
1. Drill 4 rivets out with 6mm drill bit 2. Remove plastic mounts from the bar 3. Use 8mm drill bit to enlarge holes on aluminum bars (to clear M8 bolts) 4. Remove rivets from the plastic mount (might have to enlarge holes above with 8mm drill bit, or use a needle nose plier to pull them out) 5. Insert plastic mount into the drop bracket 6. Insert thread insert through the plastic mount and use M6 bolts through the bracket into the threaded insert 7. Insert T-nuts into aluminum bar for whatever you want to put on the roof rack, leave them loose in the slot 8. Insert aluminum bar into the drop bracket and use M8 bolts 9. Repeat for the other side and then again for the other bar
NOTES (you really want to read these, believe me):
1. You will need a factory roof bar kit, a hand drill, a 6.3mm (or 1/4") drill bit and 8mm (or 5/16") drill bit
2. You cannot use finger grip style mounting for any roof rack accessories, they have to be mounted with T-studs due to insufficient clearance between the bar and roof
3. The widest roof box/basket/cargo you can fit with this kit cannot exceed 755mm (29.5") for the rear bar and 810mm (32.0") for the front bar
4. You will not be able to fit your hand under the bars to wash the roof
5. To return back to Factory setup you can use rivets or the bolts with the insert from the kit (keep in mind the holes in the bars are now 8mm instead of 6mm)
